WebMay 27, 2024 · The instant fuel economy is usually around 23-24 with MDS on, and if I hit sport, the mileage usually jumps to 26-28mpg. That might be very specific to the stretch of highway you were driving and speed/grade etc. Normally Sport mode dumps you into a lower gear and of course locks out 4 cylinder mode... both things that would hurt mileage.
