This is normal, because the charge speed slows down a bunch after 80%, so it generally makes sense to disconnect and start driving after 80% charge. - You are misunderstanding the information on your display. WebThere are two short wall cords, one for a 120 volt 5-15 outlet and the other for a 240 volt 14-50 outlet. You plug one of these wall cords into a box that has a longer cord that goes to the car. Thus you can charge an EUV slowly using a standard 120 volt 5-15 outlet. The normal charging rate when using 120 volts draws 8 amps from the outlet.
