WebAug 16, 2024 · Increasing the tether dosen't matter on most maps. Any area that's a different zone will trigger the tether. Caves, some oceans area, etc. The current tether doesn't even cover a single zone so yes it does matter. Why not then just do a "zone tether" and enable free wandering through each zone?
WebThe tether distance can be slightly adjusted on PC but for the best results (no limitations) you'll want to set up a dedicated server. If you're not familiar with them, you'll need an extra computer that can run the server. There are guides to to so with a quick Google search.
