WebI just put SKSE in the correct folder and began launching by clicking on SKSE, like you. It's odd because I watched a bunch of videos, and they all show the mods getting installed (which I can do easily). Then they just go to the vortex dashboard and it seems to be there. They never show whatever step makes it appear.
